Your thoughts and experiences for our blog.

This blog is for all members to use both reading and posting. We want your thoughts, feelings, experiences, news and observations about Paddlers for Life paddling and our many other activities.

You can email your commentary to Nick. My email address and mobile number is in the roles and responsibilities booklet and the blog link on the website. You can  text posts  to me if you want.

If anyone would like to make regular contributions I can add you to the list of people who can post directly. All I need is your email address.

Please remember this is a public forum. Be friendly, positive, polite and civil. But most of all let's tell everyone how brilliant Dragon Boat paddling is and the wonderful achievements of Paddlers for Life and its members and friends.

Paddlers for Life New Blog

Hello to all you paddlers.

This blog is a bit of an experiment really and it depends on all of you to make it work! It needs your input.

Many members of our group will soon be making their way across the ocean to Canada to attend the International Dragon Boat Festival. The festival, being held at Peterborough, Ontario is for breast cancer survivors. You will meet with teams from across the world in friendly rivalry and competition to Paddle the Dragon Boats. It will be a chance to make new friends and meet old friends. Those of us who remain in the UK would love to share your experiences.

You have all put in great effort and commitment to prepare for this wonderful event. The team spirit is at its peak and the group cohesion is a pleasure to behold. The growing sense of anticipation has been palpable and today your excitement knew no bounds.

Your paddling is brilliant, your strength is a joy and your attitude is amazing. You are going to have a great time and show off the wonderful fellowship that is Paddlers for Life.

My thoughts and best wishes go with you and I look forward to posting about your progress and experiences at this inspiring event.
